Jim Brewer

Dr. Jim has been married to Sharon for 37 years; they have two grown children, Kevin, their son is married and lives in Bella Vista.  Natalie, their daughter, is married and lives in Bentonville. They have three cool grandkids! Jim has 30+ years of experience as a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Senior Pastor. He serves as the Senior Pastor of Hope Church.

Jim grew up surfing all over southern California and Mexico; graduated from Vanguard University (BA in Pastoral Ministries). The AGTS (MA in Education), Trinity Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry). Jim has traveled the country teaching on leadership, church innovation, and has a passion and track record in developing leaders. Jim has a huge passion for missions, traveling and leading multiple trips yearly overseas, building churches and helping orphans. By the way, Jim at one time tried to play the guitar publicly; since that time he has never been asked to lead worship or even sing in church – he is still in denial about his musically challenged life.

Jim does not like snakes and is the only one in the neighborhood who mows his lawn in shorts and 18″ snake boots. Jim does know how to fly fish and catches more fish than most people – so he tells us!
