Hope Church is a vitalizing church that reflects the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. It is founded on strong Biblical foundations and committed to the truths that are found therein. We’ve combined all the elements necessary to create an inviting, exciting, and life-changing atmosphere. Here are answers to some of the questions you may have.
Do I need to dress up?
Only if you want to. Most people dress casually at HC and everyone dresses comfortably, so wear what you like.
What is the atmosphere like?
At HC, you’ll find real people – in other words, people just like you. It is not about a building, a place, or an organization – our church is about people! Some words that describe the people at HC are “friendly, warm, open, accessible, and loving.” Come as you are, and be yourself!
What happens during the church service?
Each week is different, but some common elements include the following:
• Contemporary worship. Without even realizing it, you’ll find yourself clapping and singing along.
• Creative elements such as video and drama.
• A message that is practical, relevant and Biblical.
• You won’t be singled out! You can participate or not, it’s all up to you.
What are the messages like?
Each week we’ll present creative messages from the Bible that will easily apply to your life. We want you to walk out of HC with a greater understanding of God’s plan for your life and how you can practically live that out during the next week. If you are just checking out what Christianity is all about, you’ll easily understand what we’re talking about. If you’ve been a follower of Jesus for years, plan to be challenged in your faith.
How long does the service last?
The service is usually between 65-75 minutes long.
Are children welcome in the service?
Absolutely! We also offer an excellent “children’s church” service as well as a wonderful infant and toddler nursery geared to meet their specific needs.
